Ein heißer Sommertag in der Kölner Bucht.
Im Darwin-Jahr.
Eine Bahn der Kölner Verkehrsbetriebe trägt zum Darwin-Jahr eine "evolutionäre" Sonderlackierung.
Hier ist die Bahn unterwegs zusammen mit einer Bahn, die Reklame für Kölsch-Bier macht, - eine gute Zug-Kombination für diesen heißen kölschen Sommertag.
Unweit dieser Stelle (in Köln-Lindenthal) fand man Spuren von Bandkeramiker Siedlungen.

A hot summer day in the Cologne basin.
In the Darwin Year.
A streetcar-unit of the Cologne Transit Company displays special "evolutionary" paintings and lettering.
Here this streetcar is seen together with another unit that wears a advertising paint-job for a Cologne beer brewery, - a good combination of trams for a hot Cologne summer day.
Not far from this location (in Cologne-Lindenthal) excavations revealed traces of settlements from the Linear Pottery Culture.
